Hey y’all! I don’t usually like to be super open or vulnerable about my emotions on the internet. This trailer brought me to tears. If you ever doubted why you do the feminist work you do, watch. Remember that you overcame whatever it is you overcame; the self-hate that the media wants you to feel is probably one of those things (and, like most human beings, it’s probably something you still struggle with). Remember that it is “all about capitalism.” And remember that there are many, many young girls who were born after us, who live in a much less restricted world.
